I arrived at William Reid School a year ago. As a banker in my previous life, I have a strong math background and mathematics is dear to my heart.

I always knew that I wanted to help people, I just wasn’t sure how. In 2017, while in grade 12 at Ernest Manning High School, I began to imagine the next steps for my life.

Calgary students who are looking to begin a career in the electrical trades have something to be excited about this fall. EducationMatters is pleased to announce that RBC is expanding its commitment to creating meaningful work experience opportunities for students.

On May 9, 2018, EducationMatters launched our Fuel the Future event to raise awareness and dollars to support educational enrichments for students across Calgary. The event, held at the Calgary Board of Education Centre was busy, with 128 guests, students, and volunteers in attendance.

As 2017 draws to a close, we want to take this opportunity to wish you and your family a happy and safe holiday season.
