Step 2: Enter the Recipient

In the “To” field, type “30333.” This is the designated number for Text to Donate transactions.

Step 3: Type the Message

In the body of the text message, enter “EdMatters” followed by the unique keyword for the CBE school you want to support. Keywords for each school can be found here. If you don’t have a school in mind, you can contribute to EducationMatters Area of Greatest Need by texting EdMatters on its own without a keyword.

Step 4: Choose the Amount

You will be prompted to donate either $5 or $10, depending on your preference. Just type the chosen amount in the text message.

Step 5: Send the Message

Once you’ve composed your message, hit the “Send” button.

Step 6: Support Students

You’ll receive a confirmation message, and your donation will be added to your monthly cellphone bill.
