  Teaching students to read has changed in the last year. It is no longer based on sight words or looking at pictures for clues. Students are taught how to decode words. The Madame Sylvie Memorial Fund has been set up by her family and colleagues on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of her passing in April 2011.
