Bowness High School Robotics

At Bowness High School we are a community school who values providing diverse and quality learning experiences in a caring environment. To help achieve this goal, Bowness runs a robotics club to provide a unique opportunity for students to design, build and compete in a competitive robotics environment. The robotics club allows students to explore scientific and engineering principles in a welcoming and inclusive environment. Students challenge their creativity skills, learn team work, can access leadership opportunities and develop collaborative problem solving skills. We, in partnering with Vex Robotics, hope to inspire the STEM problem solvers of tomorrow! Previously, one of our teams completed in the Vex World Championships (2023) and we have two (maybe more!) very motivated and optimistic teams hoping to qualify this year.

Your support would go towards increasing access to equipment used to build the robots and expanding our resources to support more students at our school. Check out this year’s challenge at the link below https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dvDqEI7qO34&t=1s.
