As the 2023-24 school year draws to a close, School Council would like to thank the Robert Thirsk community for all of their support.

Robert Thirsk High School actively seeks ways in which to support the enrichment of programming, as well as support all students in community engagement when resources are limited. For a number of years, parents and guardians have supported additional funding needs. Robert Thirsk School Society is once again asking families to consider making a financial donation. These donations are not subject to the same restrictions placed on funds we receive through casinos.

In the past, we have supported the Graduation Committee, Maker Cart Project, pennants for graduation, families with limited resources, additional tables for the space, Math contests, board games, Musical Theatre performances, clubs and wellness initiatives – to name but a few examples.

Decision making with regards to Society funds is a collaboration between school staff, students, and their families. New members are always welcome at our monthly meetings.

We hope that our extended Robert Thirsk community can help us reach our fundraising goal of $6000 before the end of the school year. Any amount is appreciated, and tax receipts will be issued for amounts of $20.00 or more.

Thank you for taking the time to consider this request!
