As part of Maple Ridge School’s fundraising efforts in the 2022/23 year, we are launching our annual Cheque Writing Campaign. This will run from October 11th to November 4th.
Funds raised will be used for school and teacher needs, such as technology, library books, gym equipment and other curriculum enhancements. The generous support of our community has allowed Maple Ridge to provide enriching activities and supplies for our children.
We understand these are challenging times for many Maple Ridge families. With your help, our goal this year is to raise at least $50 per student, but a donation of any amount will be greatly appreciated. Tax receipts will be issued for donations of $20 and over.
The CBE has mandated that EducationMatters, Calgary’s public education trust, will process this type of fundraiser. They charge a 3.5% administration fee for donation processing in order to offset their operational costs. The rest of the funds raised go directly to Maple Ridge School.
There will be other opportunities in the coming months to support the school, such as a cookie fundraiser and bacon sale.
