We love our school, but our playground is a little underwhelming. The current set up works well for our youngest community members, but our grade 4, 5 and 6 students have historically been without an appropriate play space. That is about to change! We’re currently fundraising to add a small Agility Playground to our school that will help create a safe, welcoming space for the 8-12 year old students in our community who are too old for the smaller area, but not quite ready for the community facilities available to teens. It’s going to bridge a much needed gap for our ‘tweens’ and provide a space to help support their physical and mental wellbeing.
