Benjamin (Ben) Albert Award

Open to students registered in Grade 12 who are completing the requirements of a high school diploma and have intent to pursue a post-secondary certificate or degree. Applicants are required to submit an essay of approximately 500 words on " The impact and importance that being involved in sports has had on your life". The award must be claimed within 18 months from the date of high school graduation. Selection will be based on essay and financial need. The recipient must provide proof of registration in an eligible program of study leading to a degree or diploma, including vocational, apprenticeship, technical or post secondary institutions.
