Eligibility

Open to students registered in grade 12 who are completing the requirements of a high school diploma. Applicants must have demonstrated academic progress and have a minimum 70% average in grade 12. Applicants must have demonstrated positive citizenship qualities as revealed by the participation in non-academic activities for the school and community. Applicants are required to submit an original essay of approximately 500 words on their passion for the arts and their career goals.

Selection & Payment

Recipients are selected in August. To claim the award, within two (2) years of notification of award the recipient must be registered in an eligible program of post-secondary study of at least two years duration. Payment will be made to the post-secondary institution.
