Outstanding Student Merit Award for New BHSc Students

Open to new graduates/current grade 12 students of Bishop McNally, Lester B. Pearson, Nelson Mandela high school as well as students at Forest Lawn High School who are living in NE Calgary, who have applied to or are planning to enroll in the BHSc program at the University of Calgary. Preference will be given to candidates who engage in extra-curricular activities and demonstrate merit in their academics and life. Applicants are required to respond to the following questions in no more than 750 words. a. What does living in northeast Calgary mean to you? b. What made you choose the BHSc program? c. What are your career goals? Selection will be based on the responses to the above questions along with consideration to extra-curricular involvement.
