Eligibility

The intent is to assist one student in each of the band and choir programs annually, although the music directors should be free to allocate the available funds of $600 annually according to circumstance and need. Any student demonstrating extraordinary commitment may be eligible for the bursaries with preference given to those with financial need.

Selection & Payment

Western Canada High administration will confirm availability of funds annually with EducationMatters prior to selection. Western Canada High Music Directors shall select appropriate candidates for the bursary with the final selection decision resting with the principal. Upon written confirmation of the recipient selections to EducationMatters payment will be arranged for disbursement through the school.
