Field of Study
Open to students registered in grade 12 who are completing the requirements of a high school diploma. Applicants must have academic grades sufficient to allow admission into their chosen area of study/educational facility.
Applicants are asked to share their story, of approximately 500 words, describing the following:
- Who Are you? Tell us about
- What does entrepreneurship mean to you and how have you demonstrated this trait to date? Describe your understanding of entrepreneurial endeavours and share how you have been engaged in these types of
- What is your plan? What are your educational and career goals? If you pursue this course of study, tell us how it will make a difference in your life, in the lives of others and prepare you to become a contributing and productive citizen in both the community and the Please also describe any past or planned volunteer activities/ community involvement related to your career goal.
Selection will be based on the story/written statement.
Selection and Payment
Recipients are selected by September. To claim the award, within fifteen (15) months of high school graduation the recipient must be registered in an eligible program of post-secondary study in Canada of at least two years duration, or an eligible skilled trades or apprenticeship program of at least one year duration. Payments are made to the post-secondary institution or program.
