This scholarship was established in 2006 in tribute to Len and Ivy Freeston’s deep love of the arts and each other. Endowed by their son and daughter-in-law, it is intended to provide a graduating high school student the opportunity to pursue post-secondary education for a career in the arts. By fostering future artists and those who want to work in performing, visual and fine arts, this scholarship lends a helping hand to those aspiring students who understand that art is what feeds the soul.
