Haworth and Heritage Business Interiors (HBI) created a scholarship to encourage students to develop talents in architecture and interior design. Education has always been a driving force at Haworth and it remains a cornerstone. Eligibility

Open to students registered in grade 12 who are completing the requirements of a high school diploma with a minimum of 75% average.

Applicants are required to:

  1. Submit an original essay of 300 to 500 words on why you want to pursue architecture and/or interior design as your career.
  2. Provide a letter of reference from an instructor who knows of your career aspirations and supports your goals.
  3. Be accepted into a post-secondary education institution to obtain an education in the field of architecture and/or interior design studies.

Selection will be based on academics, essay and reference letter.

If a decision cannot be reached based on the above criteria then financial need will be considered to reach a final selection.

Selection & Payment

Recipients are selected by September. To claim the award, within two (2) years of notification of award the recipient must be registered in an eligible program of post- secondary study. Payments will be made to the post-secondary institutions.
