William Reid is a single track Kindergarten to Grade 4 French Immersion school located in Elbow Park. They have about 200 students  from 27 communities in south central Calgary. In addition to French Immersion, the school offers a strong academic program in all subject areas. Curriculum is enhanced through the integration of fine arts and Artist in Residency programs as well as through the use of their outdoor naturalization areas. The culture of William Reid School is that of a welcoming place where everyone is important, cared for, and proud to be part of the small, tight-knit school community. Their French motto is “nous travaillons bien ensemble” (we work well together), and reflects how students, staff and parents all work closely together to make William Reid School a great place for children to learn.

The William Reid School Endowment Fund was created as a source of discretionary funds for programs, projects and initiatives, selected at the discretion of the Trust and that support teaching, learning, research, professional development and curriculum development.
