Established in 2022 by Stampede Toyota, this scholarship supports and celebrates Calgary’s vibrant and caring North East communities.  Available to any graduating student who calls NE Calgary home, the Stampede Toyota Community Matters scholarship  has been designed to recognize the quadrants emerging leaders and ensure that they are able to follow their dreams and continue making the world a better place to live and grow.

Eligibility:           

Open to students registered in grade 12 who are completing the requirements of a high school diploma.  Applicants must be current residents of a NE Calgary community, be Canadian citizens or Permanent Residents, and must demonstrate  financial need.

Applicants are required to submit a two minute video about their acts of community service and their plans for the future.

A letter of recommendation to support the applicant’s impact on their community is required

Selection will be based on community service, financial need, video, and reference; preference will be given (but not limited to) children of Stampede Toyota employees.

Selection & Payment: 

Recipients are selected in December.  To claim the award, within two (2) years of notification of award the recipient must be registered in an eligible program of postsecondary study. Payments are made to the postsecondary institutions.
