Nick was a kind, gentle old-soul.  He loved family and friends. Nick had many friends and was often referred to as the class clown, was very thoughtful of others, and was always the first to lend a helping hand or shoulder to lean on.  Nick aspired to attend Culinary School and become a Chef who would eventually own his own Restaurant. Nick was tragically killed when he was accidentally struck down in a crosswalk on September 18, 2015 at the tender young age of 16. The Nickolas Paswisty Memorial Bursary is a tribute to him and the personal characteristics he was known for and for which he was loved; be kind, respectful, have a sense of humour and work hard to achieve excellence in whatever you choose to do.
