Every year, EducationMatters hosts several signature events: the Distinguished Alumni Awards Dinner, Mistletoe Mingle and our annual Report to the Community. These events have grown over the past few years, continuing to attract a loyal following as well as new supporters.

Events are one of the many ways we celebrate our mandate and mission of supporting public education. It all adds up to:

Special Event Sponsorships range from $2,000 to $20,000 and give organizations the opportunity to be part of truly exceptional and compelling events that entertain, offer unique experiences and achieve fundraising goals that positively impact the lives of the children and families in public education in Calgary. What sets EducationMatters events apart are the students. In everything we do, we put students first. Students act as keynote speakers, entertainers, greeters, volunteers, and benefactors who engage with our attendees, reminding everyone that supporting public education is part of the equation that ensures our students have the confidence and the best possible education in which to succeed in school and in life.
