What's more important than ensuring students have an opportunity to pursue post secondary education? 

In December 2009, the Henry Wise Wood High School Parent and Alumni Association created a special fund to do just that.   Through use of the school's 2008 casino earnings, they established an endowment fund at EducationMatters - the Warrior's Legacy Endowment Fund.

The fund currently provides five scholarships worth $500 each for the 2009/2010 school year and two other awards after that into perpetuity. 
 
More importantly though, the fund stays true to the Henry Wise Wood Parent and Alumni Association's vision - to promote Life Long Learning and encourage Henry Wise Wood students to pursue post secondary education.

By supporting this fund right now, you're ensuring there will be scholarships available for years to come and that the Henry Wise Wood spirit and legacy will live on in its students and in our community.
