Program Grants.

EducationMatters is proud to award annual program grants for public education enhancement programs that directly impact students. This is truly what we are all about - the students. We want to ensure they succeed in school and are ready for adult life.

We fund enhancement programs, projects or initiatives that are not part of the core public education curriculum. We fund programs that will be of benefit to students from kindergarten to grade 12 (K-12) in Calgary's public education system. We are looking for programs that address critical needs, support innovative solutions to complex learning and life challenges, and help students succeed.

Student Awards.

Student awards recognize the accomplishments of students in school and in the community. They reward years of hard work and aim to provide an incentive for students to pursue post-secondary education.

EducationMatters administers all scholarships awarded by the Calgary Board of Education and several awards that are open to students in the Calgary Separate School District and other independent and charter schools.
